Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect on carbonbridge.nl, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
Carbon Bridge Services B.V., George Gershwinlaan 517, 1082 MT Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible (the “controller”) for the personal data collected on this website. For any privacy question or request, email support@carbonbridge.nl.
When you request our guide
The guide form asks for your first name, last name and work email address. With them we store the time of your request and your browser’s user-agent string (the browser and operating system it reports).
We use this to give you the guide and to follow up on your request. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not sell or rent your data. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
To stop abuse of the form, your IP address is held briefly in the web server’s memory to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your request.
We keep guide requests for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for your name, work email address, subject and message, and optionally your company and one file. We store the message with the time it was sent, your browser’s user-agent string and the file’s name, size and type. The file itself is not stored on the website: it is emailed, with your message, to our support inbox.
We use this only to answer you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). As with the guide form, your IP address is held briefly in memory to limit repeated submissions. We keep messages for up to 24 months after your last contact with us.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. It then sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, which last up to two years, to count visits and see which pages are read. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). If you click “Decline”, Google Analytics does not load and no analytics cookies are set.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. You can change it, or withdraw consent, at any time:
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
Hosting and other services
The website runs on Vercel, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Guide requests and contact messages are stored in Google Firebase, in Google’s EU multi-region (Belgium and the Netherlands). Contact messages are delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend. The video on the home page is delivered by Cloudinary, which receives your IP address when your browser loads it.
Each of these providers processes data on our behalf. Some are based in, or use staff in, the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it and withdraw any consent you gave. Email support@carbonbridge.nl and we will reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
